5 Ways to Spot a Work at Home Scam

Today, everybody and their Mom wants to make a hefty chunk of change online. Sure, while you can make some great money online, it’s going to be like any other business. It’s going to take hard work, motivation and determination. If you have the mindset that a million dollars is going to come easy, then you’re probably going to want to keep buying worthless lotto tickets.

Now, if you’re out there researching ways to find work at home opportunities, I wanted to show you how you can spot a scam from a mile away. What you’re going to find is that it isn’t that hard to spot one if you follow the following five tips below. Failing to follow these may result in you looking for another job application .

#1 Don’t reply to emails: No legit company is going to email you and tell you that you can make a lot of money. Instead, you’re going to want to just ignore these as 99% of the time, they are going to be scammers from across the oceans.

#2 They want money: Any legitimate business out there isn’t going to ask for your money to start up or join. If you went to a McDonald’s and you want to start working there, would you pay them $500 to start up? No! It just doesn’t make sense. You’re going to want to have the same mindset when it comes to a business opportunity online.

#3 Too good to be true: Just following this old saying and it’s going to take you far enough. What you’re going to find is that if they are saying that you can make $10,000 in your first day, then you may want to look into it because if it is too good to be true, it probably is. You don’t want to believe the hype on these products!

#4 Research online: Just do a search for the company online to see what other people are saying. In fact, if you just add the word, “Scam” to the end of it, you will probably realize that there are some great results that will more than likely pop up. This is a great way to see what other people think about them. The FBI also has a great list on how to spot the scams as well.

#5 Contact information: The last one that I would look out for is the contact information. Do they have a phone number? Do they have an address? If you can talk with someone, you’re going to want to ask lots of questions. By doing so, you’re going to be able to know what this business is all about.

By following the following tips online, there’s a good chance that you can spot a scam from a mile away. Don’t rush into anything and be sure to do a lot of research. If you do this, you will find that you can skip out on a lot of unwanted offers!
